5-22 notes on diffmap
For some blazar sources, there are extended
features that need to be taken care of in order to move forward with
the fit (features that aren't necessarily in the image on the Blazar
website). Refer to the MOJAVE website to look for these.
Sometimes, to get larger features, use
uv taper (this de weights some of the longer/shorter baselines
to give you a lower resolution in order to bring out some of the
larger scale features). Clean tends to break up larger scale
features, so that they can appear choppy. If you use UV taper, they
will appear as a single bright source. Refer to the diffmap manual
every couple image processings (to catch things you haven't caught
before and refresh memory).

NERQUAM
Nerquam-
AGN of all types were discussed at NERQUAM. From NERQUAM, I took away that I need to read more articles and I need to practice good presentation skills. I need to be building up my research repertoire quickly.
